Last night Glenn Beck (CNN) said "there are as many as 5 race wars in the works if Obama is not elected"

Are we now going to have civil wars over an election?

The last war launched within the US had nothing to do with someone losing a political campaign. Plus, is there a history of insurrections breaking out by ethnics after one of their folks loses an election?

The only one I can think of is a riot by Italians in Newark when Hugh Adonizzio (in jail) was defeated by Ken Gibson in the sixties.

I think statements about civil unrest due to an Obama loss are race baiting. Someone convince me otherwise, please.

I mean, if blacks are going to riot over Obama not being elected then whites should if McCain isn't, right ? But no, thats not how its going to be because white people are smart enough not to.

Yeah, thats me saying black people aren't smart enough, and you need only look at history to know that. A blanket statement of course, but IF Obama isn't elected yes, blacks will do hundreds of millions in damages to our country because of it.

Think about that for a minute ....... thats the people who are trying to get Obama in ..... scary huh ?

Does there need to be a history of insurrections breaking out in the USby ethnics after one of their folks loses an election for it to actually happen? Nope, there only needs to be a history of violent reaction to things that dont go their way. Need me to provide you with those examples? Thats why it wouldnt surprise me.

One need only look at footage of protestors at the RNC to see white folks behaving pretty violently. I wouldnt be surprised if some black folks trash their own neighborhoods if the election doesnt go there way, but i dont think think that you would see much more damage than that done by a bunch of white frat boys who burn cars and couches when their football team wins/loses a football bowl game.

I see your point. But what do you do?? They're children with little understanding or judgementprone to temper tantrams.
