(CNN) -- Central banks around the world are pumping billions of dollars into money markets in a coordinated bid to calm global financial upheaval.

Donald Trump tells Larry King that he's endorsing John McCain for president.

The package of up to $247 billion comes from the U.S. Federal Reserve, the European Central Bank, the Swiss National Bank, the Bank of England, the Bank of Canada and the Bank of ***an.
Real Estate magnate Donald Trump appeared on "Larry King Live" Wednesday to discuss how the economy got to this point, how it may provide opportunities for some families and which candidate is best equipped to handle the crisis.
Larry King: Who do we blame for this, Donald?
Donald Trump: Well, there's a lot of greed on Wall Street. And a lot of people are making crazy deals and you can blame everybody, even the regular consumer that went out and bought a house and got a mortgage that was ridiculous. You know, we call them exploding mortgages. But you can really blame a lot of people. And I guess you can maybe just blame the times.
King: Are you concerned about Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley?
Trump: Well, it would seem to be a great concern. John Mack of Morgan Stanley is a great, great man. He's a great friend of mine, a great businessman and you see a company like that is under trouble, I know how good a man he is.

I know what a good job he does, but you look at what's happening to Morgan Stanley. It's very, very frightening. I had a friend that put a tremendous amount of money about a year ago into AIG. Smart guy, well-known, you know him very well, very rich. He said, Donald, I want security. He got wiped out, got totally wiped out.
Now, not all of his money, but he lost everything he put into AIG. I called him, Larry, I gave him a very hard time, I really did laugh. He wasn't laughing, however.
King: You enjoy that, Trump.
Trump: I do love it, I actually do. I can only love it when it's a great friend, Larry.
King: I know, this is something you're not. So try to put yourself in their shoes, the average American family, average guy. ...
Trump: Well, it's both a very tough time and a great opportunity. There are great opportunities right now for people when you say average family. It's an unbelievable time to buy a house and especially if a bank happens to own it because they've put the money in so it's not a question of getting financing.
The money is already there. Go out and make a deal. The banks want to unload their stock. They have thousands and millions of houses. Go out, see what they have, get yourself a great house, they will give you financing.
King: Obama or McCain, who would handle this better? Watch Larry talk about the Trump interview »

Trump: Well, I know John McCain, and John McCain's a great guy, a tremendous guy. I've known him for a long time. And I'm with him, and I'm with him based on the fact that I have great knowledge of John McCain. Also, this is not the right time for tax increases and Obama wants to increase your taxes drastically. So this is not ...
King: In all fairness, he says he doesn't.
Trump: This is not the right time.
King: Obama said 95 percent would be reduced under his plan.
Trump: Well, I'll tell you, the people that create the jobs and the people that really create a lot of things in the country, they're going to be taxed into oblivion. And I'm not even sure when you look really at his tax, I think everybody's going to be taxed a lot more. So I like the fact that taxes won't be raised under McCain.
King: Have you formally endorsed the ticket?
Trump: No, but I'm endorsing McCain. I am basically very strongly -- you have to understand, I've known him, I like him, I respect him.
King: So you're endorsing him?
Trump: He's a smart guy and I think he's going to be a great president.
King: So you're endorsing him?
Trump: Sure, I'll endorse him on your show, why not?

King: You just endorsed him.
Trump: I endorse him.

Yeah, dude... You're going to have to explain that a bit more. "The people who pay the most taxes" are, without question, the wealthiest 10%. They pay around 2/3 of the total income taxes Under Obama, you're right... they will be getting the shaft. And, as a result, they will have fewer dollars to invest, fewer dollars to create new jobs, fewer dollars to pay to those who are "becoming homeless real fast...". Only an idiot proposes raising taxes during a weak economy. Ask Herbie Hoover.

In the last 10 years I have purchased 2 new homes. I would get increasingly irritated with Realtors that would take us(wife and I)out to new homes that cost 2 x what we were willing to spend just because with our credit rating blankity blank you can buy much more house and it is a great investment, you need to jump on it etc etc etc. Glad I never fell into that trap but almost all these people that are in trouble did and most of them had less then Stellar credit and small if anydown payments. I mean taking out an ARM on a jumbo mortgage are they and the people that lent the money freaking crazy.? There was a realty specialist on the today show(god forgive me I watched it ) that said that all banks should offer a fixed 30 year 4 7/8 loan to all these people having problems adn that would cure the housing market ills. Oh yea and pump up the prices that are already too high as well.

Raise your hand if you give 2 ****s what Donald Trump thinks or who he supports for president.

jrbsr, we have 2 fundamental problems in this nation: 1.) We're a nation of too much personal greed (which has contributed greatly to our current economic situation), and 2.) We're a nation of too little personal responsibility (always looking for somebody else to help us out with, or take the blame for, our own problems). Your post addresses both of them.

Doesn't make much sense talking facts to folks who seem to get their talking points direct from moveon.org and dailykos. They honestly believe that the rich have so many loopholes that they don't pay anything, and that minimum wage earners pay most of the taxes...

Tell that to the person that makes minimum wage and they take 25 to 30 percent out of it.
And they still have to live on whats left of it.

Or the person on disibility only getting a little less than 1/3 of what they made to start with.

I'm sorry jrbsr, but nobody that makes minimum wage (or anything close to it) get's 25 or 30% "taken out" without getting about all of it given back in refund.

I'd say that it's less than 5% of total income (not taxable income) and that is still a rarity. If they have kids that they take care of, they getFREE MONEY, with no real exceptions...thatis...they receive way more in refund then they ever payed in.

Now some people that are pretty naive when it comes to taxes include their social security and medicare in that equation. They are not normally referred to when someone speaks about their "tax bracket" or percentage. They amount to about 7.5% and are the mechanism that allows people to receive "disability"...and if a person is young enough...they will receive more than they ever payed in by a long shot. Take care.

Dang, no wonder you are confused. If you think someone making minimum wage is paying 25 to 30 percent in federal income taxes you are terribly mislead. They might be having that much held out so they can get a big fat refund at the end of the year. My stepson was doing that and I asked him why do you let the government hold your money at zero interest? and his reply was "That is the only way I can save money, and I like the big check I get." He is making a good bitmore than minimum wage, and he is still not paying a 25 to 30 % tax rate.
