Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Who'da thunk it.

It seems the Bush legacy on failed economics will go unchallenged .

The first Bush was deemed incompetent and thrown out after signing a tax increase during a slowed economy. As he should have been.

Now after eight years of watching our economic base deteriorate wya's stay is about over. Thank God.

What bothers me is all of the hand wringing thats going on now,and all of the ,wow ,we didn't see this coming. W.T.F.

The savings rate has been at zero for more than three years. The trade deficit has grown to over 700 billion dollars. The American dollar, the base for all world trade has been replaced by the Euro because the dollar has fallen so low that its unwanted. The federal budget deficit is over 400 billion dollars.Any one seeing a pattern here?

And some of you sit back and see nothing wrong with the direction this country is heading.

The American auto industry is failing, the housing industry has failed, banks are dropping like flies, the airlines are barely afloat. Private industries of all kinds that are existing ,are not growing or creating jobs in America. They are leaving this country with no plans to ever return.

The only growing sector is government, and that should scare the hell outta you.

I'm done.[:@]

Hey, I'm completely ready to blame our economic distress on Bush. So far, though, I haven't seen anything to prove that Bush's policies are responsible for the downturn.

I'm all ears, though.

Free trade has worked really well for America's working folks.

The falling dollar should have lowered the prices of American made products, except after the free trade pacts nothing is made in America any more.

Republicans were in charge of both houses and did their damnedest to out spend the dummycraphs.

With a growth rate at 2 % how long could savings accounts keep families afloat.

You should well know that legislation pushed for by a President do not manifest themselves during the reign of the President. Look what Clinton did, he raised taxes and rode the Bush Wave. He didn't have a war to contend with ..fired a 1/2 dozen cruise missles at empty Al Qaeda camps and a working Aspiring factory. He reaped all the Bush Rewards and then 2 years prior to leaving put the events in place for a recession. You might not want to remember this but the Stock Market and Investments in general were on Shaky ground in the late 90's. If clinton was so opposed to Nafta why the hell did he ratify it? WHy did he pursue trade deals with China ...Oh yea I know to line his pockets just like every other capitalist. Limousine Liberals are a real plumb.

Now please tell me what your thoughts are on a fix to the situation.
