The AP first refuses to comply with an FBI/Secret Service investigation into this matter, and then spins its story to say that this somehow proves that the criticism of Palin for using a non-government email account for official business is justified. But the media isn't out to get Palin, is it, libbies?
BTW, what the hell right does the media have to reveal the contents of personal email messages that were obtained illegally? That goes for ANY candidate or anybody.
Our news media in this nation is being rendered further irrelevant with each passing day.
(BTW, I'm not sure what all the whining is about regarding which email account Palin used. Since email isn't considered official communication, it doesn't matter which email she uses.)

agree that any invasion of privacy is odious, Gris, but i think official government (not private) email is subject to alaska'a right to know/open records law,

First off there was only the alligation because of emailing to her aid. Secondly, info gaithered in a illegal manner can't be used against you. Go ask that idiot congressman from Ohio how much he had to pay for revealing the illegal tapped conversation of Newt's cell phone call.

So let me get this straight. The same people who are crying that listening in onphone calls of possible terrorists is an invasion of privacy are all about stealingand distributing Sarah Palin's private emails?

i was merely pointing out that, under alaska law, email can be an official form of communication, subject to that state's open records law.
This is reidiculous. Do we really want these people inofice when they are conniving to win this election, dumping all this crap on us, race cards, etc. This is to win race, just think what would happen oif you as a citizen disagreed or went against them?

so you believe that there is a link between the group of internet hackers called "anonymous" who apparently perpetrated the crime, and all of those who might object to the current administration's domestic surveillance policies?
I think this kind of behavior is typical of liberals. But let's not lay the blame on Obama. I don't think he should be held responsible for the loony acts of his disciples.

Good point. But it doesn't change the fact that the emails were obtained by the press because of illegal behavior and, thus, they should be off limits until and if they are obtained through the appropriate channels.
