I really fear an Obama presidency now. He is sticking to his Hoovernomics. The works are in motion for some bad times if Obama gets in. I wonder if someone will give Obama a history book to read before he starts taxing.[]

What I gleaned from that article was that firms that made poor choices succumbed to those choices, a risk they knew and accepted when they made them, that's how business is supposed to conducted. What we're seeing is perfectly normal in a down market, the ones that survive consume the ones that don't. Any business has only two basic goals:
1) To survive.
2) To profit.
Any business that doesn't accept that fails the first one and therefore can't achieve the second. There's no shortage of investment firms or banks in this country because most businessses understand and acceptthat, would you rather the goobermint bailed them out with your money?

I am glad i got out of the financials while i could, everyone should have seen this coming. I had a friend who didn't, and he paid dearly for playing with fire...

Now your seeing what the Republican party and policy can do to a country. There is alot more comming. Obam will attempt to fix things but I'm not sure how quick this bad Republican tragedy can be fixed.
