Default Democrats stink it up again

The South Carolina Democratic campaign chief -- I think that is her title -- today said that Sarah Palin's only qualification for Vice Presidential office is that she hasn't had an abortion.

Can you believe it? These Democrats keep shooting themselves in the foot!!!

This reminds me of that article Gloria Steinem wrote entitled "The Only Thing Hillary and Palin Have in Common is a Chromosome!" Of course, the purpose of Steinem's article was to tryto persuade Hillary voters not to swing to McCain/Palin. Of course, the fallacies in Steinem's argument were (1) none of Clinton's positions agreed with Palin's positions and (2) all of the women who were Clinton voters agreed 100% with Hillary's positions. It seems to me I remember Hillary trying to trick herself out as a woman of faith, a church going woman, a woman of prayers. I guess that is something Hillary and Palin share other than a chromosome!

I don't know how to characterize the Democrats's reaction to Palin. Flumoxed? Suffering from apoplexy? Hyperventilating? Wetting their pants? How dare the Republicans empower a woman!!! They can't do that!!!

They said earlier that this election was obama's to loose. I think he is well on his way to doing just that.

How rattled are they?

Let's see, the have to smear the number 2 on the ticket.

They are forced to compare their number 1 on the ticket to the republican's number 2 on the ticket because he can't stand up to the republican's number 1. Earth to Obama, you can't stand up to Sara either!!!!!!

McCain's crowds are growing, the base is energized (CI, I was wrong, this year the VP has made a difference). Obama's crowds are shrinking. His base is in panic/trouble mode. There is a shake up coming soon in Obama's campaign, but it's a Lautenberg they need to do!!!!!!

Hilary is smiling!!!!!!!!

Palin clearly isn't that great of a candidate. She's in experienced and was only selected because McCain had to do something in order to get people's minds of Obama. It worked, however, and even though no one really knows much about Palin nor is all the press good, the republicans are taking away time and ears from democrats which was their goal in the first place. Is she a good candidate? No. Is her being chosen working as McCain planned? Perfectly.

Wahoohunter: Palin isn't very experienced? What rock have you been hiding under. She has more executive experience relevant to being POTUS -- although she is running for VP -- than Obama has. She has overseen something like a $12 B budget. What kind of budget has Obama overseen? She has overseen 29,000 state employees. How many people has Obama overseen? When Palin is on the spot, as Governor of Alaska, she has to make a decision now and accept the consequences. When Obama works, he has all the time in the world to deliberate and vote along with a host of other Senators -- distributed accountability or no accountability.

Palin brings a lot to the party, bud. If you don't see it now . . . maybe you'll see it later. She connects with people who aren't comforted and don't trust a slimy Harvard educated lawyer that they intuit is lieing through his teeth.

You mean Palin can't just vote "present" as governor?

What about block party organizing? Does she have any experience in that field to measure up to Obama's?

It's just too funny when a BHO supporter tries to make the argument that Sarah Palin isn't qualified, lacks experience, etc.

To hear you all tell it, Obama has no experience at all. So you're saying she has more experience than him? GOOD WORK!

Or perhaps she connects with people who are intimidated by intelligence? People see Obama's persona and see him as an elitist when they see a picture of her and a caribou, they think "well now she's on my level." Of course, she is just as intelligent and educated as Obama, but because she puts on a different persona people "relate" to her
