Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Flame Broiling the Earth ? Ban Bovines ?

Meat: Making Global Warming Worse

Need another reason to feel guilty about feeding your children that Happy Meal "” aside from the fat, the calories and that voice in your head asking why you can't be bothered to actually cook a well-balanced meal now and then? Rajendra Pachauri would like to offer you one. The head of the U.N.'s Nobel Prize"“winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, Pachauri on Monday urged people around the world to cut back on meat in order to combat climate change. "Give up meat for one day [per week] at least initially, and decrease it from there," Pachauri told Britain's Observer newspaper.

"In terms of immediacy of action and the feasibility of bringing about reductions in a short period of time, it clearly is the most attractive opportunity." So, that addiction to pork and beef isn't just clogging your arteries; it's flame-broiling the earth, too.

Well, that settles it. I'm going to go out and eat as many cattle as possible in order to save the world from their flatulence. My wife might get mad about my cholesterol, but, damn it, it's for the good of the world.

God Bless the United Meat Eaters of North America.

A steak a day keeps the cow pies away.

And as you know, the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded by a panel of politicians, not scientists. It is the only Nobel Prize not awarded by experts within any given field.

Dang... And just as I was thinking about going on a diet. Is there no end to the sacrifices we have to make on the world's behalf? Well, I'm off to sharpen my steak knife. There's work to do.

Yeah, maybe to some tree hugging vegan PETA freak. Me? I'm having steak tonight. Might have a side of ribs with that, you know, just to make sure.

I think veal should be on that menu as well. Eat before they become Bovine gaseous machines!
