Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default MSNBC removes Olberman and Matthews from anchor positions

Can't say I'm really surprised. If anything it's long overdue. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/08/business/media/08msnbc.html?_r=2&hp=&oref=slogin&page wanted=print&oref=slogin

Quote:
MSNBC tried a bold experiment this year by putting two politically incendiary hosts, Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, in the anchor chair to lead the cable news channel"™s coverage of the election.
That experiment appears to be over.
After months of accusations of political bias and simmering animosity between MSNBC and its parent network NBC, the channel decided over the weekend that the NBC News correspondent and MSNBC host David Gregory would anchor news coverage of the coming debates and election night. Mr. Olbermann and Mr. Matthews will remain as analysts during the coverage.
The change "” which comes in the home stretch of the long election cycle "” is a direct result of tensions associated with the channel"™s perceived shift to the political left.

Yes, Republican owned companies want the bias to be for them, and will do anything to get it............................just like Fox News.

So, we do agree on something! Mainstream media sources are no-very-well-disguised propaganda machines.

That and the fact you could probably count the number of viewers on one hand.
I think they have the same problem Air America had... no audience to pay the bills. The kook left don't watch the news anyway, not even their brand of it.

As is readily apparent from many of their members here, even if they watched, they likely wouldn't understand it ...

During the primaries, Fox News was considered the most fair and balanced network, and I have to agree, CNN's coverage was just trying to smear mud on Clinton's record, and say Obama was bereft of such smears, by comparison of the two.

MSNBC's coverage was almost nonexistent, CNN Headline News is just a channel for cheerleaders(Robin Meade talking about lost dogs around the countryevery 45 minutes? Give me a break!), and a waste of money, no worthwhile coverage there.

Fox was the best, now, nobody is worth it....[&o]

I've been watching all 3 cable networks (fox, cnn, msnbc) and find that of the three, fox appears to be
the most balanced. CNN was a wretched shell of unbridled and unexcused obama support and mccain criticism. THey could not even frame their questions generically, posing obama questions in a positive light and framing mccain questions in such a way as to make an answer to the question an defensive maneuver.
They deserve to go belly-up....maybe the libs would support a bailout ? hehehe....

MSNBC...hmm....I knew I watched it.....but I just can't remember anything of import....
Oh....wasn't Chris Matthews the one who gets thrills running up his little pants leg when obama orates from the prompter ?

They see how much damage thesekneejerk lefties are doing to the Obama/Biden ticket and are backing off. One poll now has Palin/McCain up by 10, another 4...
