Photos of Taliban Posing in Dead Soldier's Uniform Shock France Friday, September 05, 2008
A picture of a Taliban fighter in the uniform of a dead French soldier drew anger in France Wednesday as the army came under new fire over its conduct in an ambush that killed 10 paratroopers in Afghanistan last month.
Paris Match magazine was condemned by politicians, the military and soldiers' families for publishing a spread of Taliban posing with their French trophies from the battle, east of Kabul, on August 18. These included Famas assault rifles, helmets, body armor, walkie-talkies and a wristwatch that the Taliban asked the magazine to return to the family of the soldier who had owned it.....

The taliban are legendary for their barbaric behavior;executing females in the street, blowing up thousands of years old Buddist statues, and killing kids. It is high time that the US got serious and sent at least 20,000 more troops to Afghanistan. We are in grave danger of losing the real war on terror in Afghanistan.
What???? Allwe need to do is negotiate with them. Let old Obamalomadingdong go talk to them, they will play nice with him and stop hateing all the nonbelievers. They just want a hug and a nice cup of tea. Once the chosen one speaks to them and gives them aid, we will be all safe in our government houses, living on our government pay check, eating our government supplied food rations. We can work half ass and earn the same as if we did really try. We can rape the motivated and give to the lazy. All this brought to you by the charmed one, Obama.
Why do you have a bad feeling? If you take all of the political rhetoric and grandstanding out of it, we have made substantial progress in fighting against terror. In America alone, we haven't had another major terrosrist attack succeed even though the terrs have tried numerous times. Many European countries have had similar success. Iraq is steadily increasing in stability and the ability to handle their own affairs successfully. Afghanistan has had a few setbacks but is defintely winnable. Pakistan is moving forward to the point where Musharraf is out and they are beginning to crack down on the al queda terrs in their rural areas.
Sometimes people (not meaning you per se) tend to only look at the bad things that happen and forget about the goods things and progress being made. We are winning the war on terror even though we won't ever have a formal truce or cessation of hostilities on their part.

I can honestly say, I really don't think we'll ever win the war on terror.
Nobody ever has since the dawn of warfare, but you can sure smoke the sumbitches when opportunity presents, and I dare say we do that better than most.
