RE: So you think Roe will be overturned? Think again!
Even if RvW is overturned, it won't make abortion illegal, it just puts it back in the hands of the states, where it was before RvW. It would simply take out the bizarre stretch of logic that says that the right to privacy somehow translates to the right to an abortion. Using that same logic, I'm surprised the same court didn't make all drugs legal, after all it's my body, don't I have the right to put whatever I want into it if I can take out whatever I want? RvW should be overturned because it's bad law, not because it would make abortion illegal.

he has since changed that position, he opposes it
Now that is FUNNY! At best he's a flip/flop liar.
His quote stands and he said it of his own free will - shows you where he stands.
A vote for McCain is a vote for legal abortion - period.

Better question is;
Why are you not posting under your other user name.
I don't have one. This is my only screen name and I haven't posted before today. Up till now I have just used huntingnet.com as a reading source for hunting articles. Didn't even notice the politics forum till last week. Guess i've been missing out huh?
But as for me, I like somethings from both McCain and Obama, and dislike some of both as is always the case.
I just can't vote for the party that was responsible for the Iraq debacle and selling out our troops socheaply in Iraq with the mismanagement from day 1.
I'm voting for Obama to vote against that legacy - not because I think Obama is all that and a bag of chips - that's it.
Folks voting for McCain cause they think he's pro-life are simply lost and can't face the fact that legal abortion is here to stay.
Admit it and go on - or leave the country. Those are the two choices pro-lifers have - there will be no overturning of Roefederal or state - ever!
If SD couldn't do it last year, no one can.

Here it is again. No one can explain it away.
"But But But, Uhhhh He changed his mind already, eeeeeek!" (in a whiney voice)
No, that doesn't make it go away.
If anything, it makes him a flip/flop liar in which case you can't trust anything he says and certainly shouldn't vote for him.

RE: So you think Roe will be overturned? Think again!
As for the question. I dont think it will be over turned. But the odd thing about it is that the puppet used to pass the legislation has since been fighting to overturn it. She has been prolife ever since.
