Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default McCain: Change We Can Believe In

Ok, so last night in McCain's speech he had a big spill for a second where he talked about he and Plain bringing change to the white house, politics and what not...GREAT IDEA! i seemed to have heard it somewhere before though, I just can't recall where (Obama maybe?). Anyways, what do you all have to say about that? For MONTHS people have posted stuff about Obama and how he wants change and each time it is met with "What exactly is so bad about the country right now?" or "The country is not in that bad of shape, the democrats just use it as a voting ploy." Fair enough, so what is your response to your main man saying he's going to bring change? because, from what I've heard, we don't need it right?

Sure we do, but not Obama's type. Like McCain said, we need choice in education, we need less Pork Barrel spending, we need lower, not higher taxes, we need to drill our own oil, we need to build nuclear power plants....
Clearly McCain was playing on Obama's 'Change' mantra, but he was also pointing out that BHO's change is wrong.

McCain/Palin....Vote for Change, don't Hope for it.

You probably missed one of the great lines of the convention. I'm paraphrasing, but it was to the effect of the Democrats say they're going to use Washington to change America. We're going to use America to change Washington.

McCain has consistently talked about bringing about change. That didn't start with the GOP convention. The difference is that the Democrats are telling us that our country is in terrible shape and we need radical changes to fix our problems. The Republicans are saying that the country is in good shape; it's Washington that is the problem, and that's what they intend to change.

We can debate on who is right and who is wrong, but that's a pretty important distinction.

Excellent. I did enjoy that line in the speech.
