Can anyone name some that are documented? I don't know much about her. Most of what I have heard has been good, but I'd like to know the bad also.
So far I have heard she is anti-homosexual but has gay friends. I think she would probably not call herself anti-homosexual, but I imagine she does not stand for gays and lesbians to have the same rights as a married man-woman.
It has also been said that she is anti-abortion and yet supports gun rights and guns kill kids. This one makes absolutely no sense to me.
Alaska requested more earmarks than any other state, I believe, during her governship. I believe she originally supported the Bridge to Nowhere as well. I'm sure there's more. Like every other politician, her views have evolved. It cracks me up when people start going back over a period of years to find contradicting points of view from a political candidate and then jump on them as flip-flopping or inconsistencies. I know my views have evolved and changed over time and I'm pretty sure every other American has as well.

I don't mind so much if a candidate's positions "evolve", which implies some period of time and contemplation. What I don't like are positions that change from day to day based upon the makeup of the audience.

Excellent point, ipscshooter. Also, it makes a difference whether they flip-flopped in the right direction. When I flip-flopped from a lieing, hippocritical, male chauvanist, bigot to a truthful, straight-shooting, equitable person, that flip-flop -- I take it -- was OK.

Which is why I said "over a period of years." There's a big difference, IMO.

Anything else with more meat to it???
Neither of these are inconsistencies, just a blurring of multipel issues to try and make a point.
anti-abortion and gun rights being inconsistent? that's gotta be the biggest stretch in the world! If you want to go down that road, then you better also be against: swimming pools, cars, doctors, and many more things that kill many kids!
anti-homosexual with gay friends, first off you'd have to define how you classify someone as anti-homosexual. Mapping that to the gay marriage issue is a non-starter. Many people believe you have the right to be homosexual, but that the definition of marriage should not be changed to suit your desires.
I am sure there are things that can be dug up against her, but if that's the best the comes out, the more power to her!

I didn't mean to imply that you'd meant otherwise. Sorry if there was a misunderstanding.
