Pay AttentionYou couldn't get a job at McDonalds and become district manager after 143 days of experience.
You couldn't become chief of surgery after 143 days of experience of being a surgeon.
You couldn't get a job as a teacher and be the superintendent after 143 days of experience.
You couldn't join the military and become a colonel after a 143 days of experience.
You couldn't get a job as a reporter and become the nightly news anchor after 143 days of experience. But'From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience inthe Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working. After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World .... 143 days.
We all have to start somewhere. The Senate is a good start, but after 143 days, that's all it is - a start.
AND, strangely, a large sector of the American public is okay with this and campaigning for him. We wouldn't accept this in our own line of work, yet some are okay with this for the President of the United States of America?Come on folks, we are not voting for the next American Idol!

I wouldn't absolutley would not vote Obama for many reasons, his experience or lack there of isn't helping him. So he's charismatic, and likable, all qualities that will get you voted on American Idol.
Palin worked hard to get to where she is and she is also charismatic and likable but she is also knowledgable, has made laws, has a firm hold on who she is and what she wants and she executes it in a graceful manner.
I know most of this is my opinion but hey- I am just calling it as I see it.
McCain & Palin is your next administration whether you like it or not!
Neither of whom have a single day of experience being President. That's the point I was making, though it flew right over your head. There is no way to 'hire' someone for that job that has actual experience for the job. That entire cut-n-paste is an exercise in ignorance.
Maybe they actually will win. Doubt it, but anything's possible. It will be interesting to watch how Palin develops. 2012 isn't far off.

Come on Art--you know better. The examples given are very applicable. You need to work your way up and have at least SOME experience before you get the top job. A novice teacher isn't ready to become Superintendent of Ed. A novice surgeon isn't ready to be Cheif Surgeon of a hospital. A Second Leutenant isn't ready to take on the responsibilities of a General after 143 days. That's just plain common sense. I have no doubt you would agree if the tables were turned and Palin were at the top of the Republican ticket and Biden at the top of the Dem ticket.
Remember what I said about the IBO? Ready to vote me in? How about a guy that has been shooting in tournaments for 143 days?
I feel that being the CEO of the most powerful nation in the world is a bit more important, and I wouldn't vote for myself for president of the IBO, and certainly not someone who'd only been shooting tournaments for 143 days.

Okay, just how do you work your way up to being POTUS? What's the clearly delineated course of promotion and advancement through the gov't? Who's butt do you kiss in order to climb the ladder to the top spot?
Common sense does not apply. This is the GOVERNMENT we're talking about! [8D]

That's right.........Sit there and believe your lying eyes![8D]

C'mon, now LBR. The man (Obama) and his wife both say he fought for the rights of workers.
Seriously though, look around. The number of people filling extremely important slots while undergoing on-the-job-training is enough to keep you awake at night. Why should the presidency be any different? What could he possibly screw up that those with tremendous previous experience haven't already screwed up?[8D]
POTUS and VPOTUS need to be leaders.
The key experience that both McCain and Palin have and bring to the table is the proven track record of being able to assimilate data and make a decision. As a retired Naval Officer, I can tell you that McCain's years as a Naval Officer already give him more decision making experience than BHO/Biden combined. From the day of his commissioning, he had more responsibilities for personnel, equipment, and operations than BHO/Biden have ever had.
When I was the Senior Resident Officer in a simulated POW situation in SERE school, I got a very small taste of what McCain went through. His decision not to come home early shows that he has what it takes. Palin's tough decsions as governor to take on the establishment and get rid of waste and corruption show that she has what it takes. Rudy's comments last night about Obama's ability to make a decision were spot on. How can you sit as a senator and vote "present" over 140 times?
Compare Palin to Obama, which one needs to grow a pair?
