Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Liberal protesters?

Why do the peace loving liberals always have the most violent protests?

Because they are not as peace loving as they try to act.

They've been showing some of it on the news. Those people are truly disgusting. You can tell they're liberals.

Last night I saw that the number of arrests were like 230 people and that doesn't include any that may have been arrested after Rage Against the Machine's concert last night.

They say the guy that had all the bomb making stuff is looking at 10 years in jail. I hope he gets it. He said he was trying to knock out the power at the Xcel Center. Did you see all the stuff he was caught with?

Not all Democrats or supporters of Obama advocate or promote that stuff. I'm not going to address my comments to Obama's campaign or to Democrats more generally. I'm going to comment soley upon those protestors, the ones who are breaking windows and commiting other crimes.

The behavior of those people is appalling. They are criminals, and I hope they are prosecuted to the full extent allowed under the law. What is revolting to me is that I assume these people are motivated by a will to influence our national politics. We have a democracy. You influence politics by voting, by discussing, debating. You don't influence politics by bullying and threatening harm to others. These people are substantively acting to derail our democratic processes and replace it with some sort of brown shirt hoodlumism tyranny. Their behavior is execrable.

There are parts of the Sixties that should never be revisited, radical militancy and blind stupidity are chief among them.

They're not liberals OR Democrats anyway. They are anarchists.

For it to be an authentic re-visitation, there would have to have been the bodies of dead protesters lying about the streets in the aftermath.
