As the news breaks that Sarah Palin has been hiding her daughter's pregancy with a lie about mononucleosis, I just had to stop by to say.

The rumors up here have been swirling and reliable sources said it was so. Stupid McCain did not properly vet her. Just an FYI, rumors up here also say that she is going to go down in Troopergate, and that has been sending copies of restricted government information to her husband Todd, etc. etc. etc.

Thats all you got, a pregant daughter? I guess it would have been better if she had forced her daughter to have an abortion, because we know that the liberals feel that is such a great alternative to birthcontrole.

So her daughter is pregnant. Since when is that a reason to attack the parents? I didn't hear leftists attacking the Spears family when Jamie Lynn became pregnant. You Democrats are absolutely despicable.

Ditto, and troopergate is much to do about nothing. The Dems will attempt to make something about but in the end it will be a tiny distraction.

Politics has shown again and again that politicians sometimes have skeletons in the closet. No one is immune -- not McCain, not Palin, not Obama, not Biden. What about Edwards? How long has he been in the political spotlight and only now his adultery comes to the fore?
With that preamble, sure, Palin may have skeletons in her closet. But there is nothing substantive out there at this time. Her daughter is pregnant. Big deal. As a parent, our children, despite our best wishes for them and our best efforts coaching them to follow a preferred path, don't always follow our guidance. If that is the worst thing that comes out about Palin, no problem. Now it is time to turn that high wattage spotlight of yours, Alaska Magnum, on Obama's associations with Bill Ayers, Reverand Wright, and that Chicago Slum Lord whatisname.
If the Dems have as much room to condemn Gov. Palin over her family vs. BHO's as they do questioning her experience vs. his. Once again, no contest.

The real rumors being spred by the liberals about Gov. Palin's last child would have been damaging. But, evidently now those rumors are obviously false. Her daughter being pregnant is nothing. It is unfortunate but happens all the time. I admire them for doing the right thing and keeping the baby. Sure would have been a lot easier for her to get an abortion (killed the baby) and then everything would have been smooth sailing for all involved. I'm sure many in her position would have done exaclty that. [:'(]
