Why aren't we sealing it? This problem, it hasn't been a 2 years ago kind of deal, I mean, I read an article of the border problem, from a National Geographic magazine that was released in 1979!
Here's whyI think nobody is acting, and mainly, why the Democrats aren't even in the slightest bit interested in securing the border, and it's not because "Everyone needs the American dream!", just tell me, what do the majority of Latinos vote? Democrat, and the Dems know theyhave no long-term hold on the population, because the Demographic is that over 70% of America is White, but I saw an article in USA Today recently, that said that in 2040, Whites will be equal with Latinos in number, because many Latinos are Roman Catholic, and we all know the church's position on birth control, and also, illegal immigration grows almost every year, with Felipe Calderon's government practically destroying Mexican infrastructure, and drug and illegal weapon's cartels have seized entire towns across the border.
That's another thing, we get most of our illegal weapons from Mexico, we can help solve two problems, drugs, and guns getting into the hands of criminals.
Then, we wouldn't have to spend so much money on DTF equipment, or pass useless gun laws that hurt America's economy, and the safety of our citizens.
The Democrats want illegal immigration, because it gives them more votes in the future, and they will have of a chance of securing another dynasty of 40 years of Democrapian republic of North America, and BHO's will have their own churches, heck, their own religion, (okay, that's going too far, lol.)
Nice conspiracy theory. It doesn't work though. We've had 8 years of Bush administration with very good reasons to seal the borders, like being at war and having a dire need to prevent terrorist infiltration. Republicans have done practically nothing toward that end.
Very few businesses have been charged with hiring undocumented workers, even though thousands of illegals have been rounded up and deported from their workplaces.
We've had a War on Drugs that was begun under Nixon in 1971, and sealing the borders would have gone a long way in winning that war. In the intervening 37 years, there have only been 12 years with a Democrat in the White House. That's a cumulative quarter of a century of Republican domination, with illegal immigration becoming worse with each passing year.
Well, until now. Our economy is so shoddy and there is so little work that there is a reverse exodus underway with illegals going back home. The Mexican consulate in Dallas, for example, is swamped with Mexican nationals wanting to go back home and getting the documentation they need to enroll their children in Mexican schools. (I do hope they don't let the door bust 'em in the butt on their way out. )
Perhaps you should be decrying the Republican dynasty instead.
Well then, what is your explanation for why the Republicans don't want to seal the border?
Where do you think the drugs came from in the late inthe 60's? And who was in charge then? Seriously, you can't possibly think that the Democrats are somehow saints in this whole thing, with pure white cloaks, it's the Democrats in San Francisco that are all about "sancuary cities", and now there's a lawsuit over the deaths of 2 sons and a father at the hands of an illegal immigrant who was a killer, and they did nothing about it.
Republican sheriffs in Arizona are the ones gathering up the illegals, and getting media scrutiny and outcry because of it.
As much as it angers me to say it, Republicans are just as guilty as Democrats when it comes to border security. Bush has done NOTHING about our border, while fighting a "war" on terror. That is the one of the reasons I no longer send $ to the RNC. I will financiallysupport the candidates of my choice, but I can't blindly support the party anymore.
Where do you think the drugs came from in the late in the 60's?
From the same places they come from now.

And who was in charge then?
That would be Nixon. He was also the one who declared a War on Drugs. Didn't do anything about the border though.
Nope. I'm not saying Democrats have been saints. I'm just pointing out that, in the past 48 years, 36 of those years have been under Republican administrations. Why they haven't done something about the borders? Since you're waving the flag for Republicans, that's something you'd have to explain to me.
Arthur and in those 48 years who had the majorities in the houses for at least 40 of those years. So if there isnt a bill sent to Presidents to sign nothing can get done. Need a hint to the answer.
You need to drag out the civics book and give yourself a little review over the powers of each branch of government. The President has the authority and duty to enforce the laws passed by Congress. We have had immigration laws on the books for at least 100 years. Presidents don't need more authorization from Congress to enforce border security - though it wouldn't hurt for Congress to dish out some more funding.
Exactly , without the money, nothing can get done which means it has to come from the congress. Tell us in those 40 years where the dummycraps controlled congress why was nothing done by them either.
