Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default A question for Obama supporters.

Whywont Obamatake McCain up on his offer to do regular"town hall debates". Is he going to be like Hillary and only go to debates that he can prepare for in advance.

Also;

Has he yet to leave the teleprompter? Oh yea, he has, and every time he has had to go on t.v. the next day to explain what he meant.

Simple answer... He's a chicken chit... He knows McCain would mop the floor with him in that type of setting.

Why should they debate in any setting until they're both officially nominated as candidates for their respective parties?

Do you really think Obama, a Harvard educated lawyer and past president of the Harvard Law Review, is petrified in terror at the thought of debating ANYBODY, in ANY format? I'd say, not hardly. That's his turf. In McCain, you're talking about a guy who couldn't out-debate BUSH, fer cryin' out loud!

I find it hard to believe that Obama would have even one supporter on a hunting and gun site. Kinda like the Jews cheering for Hilter.

Yes, I agree with you here, it's strangely idiotic for a hunter and/or gun owner to support one who would strip us of
our rights to persue our chosen hobby. Nobody ever said this was a cohesive group, hence, the dems and tree-huggers
get to crap on us all the time, and at will, because there are morons who will say "Well, I think we need more regulation..." or "the fees SHOULD be higher !"....or "Yeah, out of staters should be excluded from the permit process"...or well, you get the picture. And when hunting is no longer permitted, then these same politicians that morons supported from their soap box will strip you of your firearms because by then, they will have successfully linked your right to firearms with your ability to hunt. So, we are only as strong as our weakest link(s).....

And to answer ArthurP; I have a sister-in-law who was a phd candidate for NYU. She was a political scientist. She was an
absolutely brilliant straight-A student. She wrote speeches for that disappointment from NJ, Senator Bill Bradley.
She is the biggest idiot you ever did see. EDUCATION DOES NOT EQUAL INTELLECT !!! Learn the difference.
Obama can hang all the papers he wants to on his wall. When it comes to the final analysis, he can't work without a teleprompter, and each time he's made 'off the cuff' remarks it equates to 3 seconds of gaffe = 2 weeks of 'what I really meant'. That's an INEFFECTIVE communicator. I don't want this 'National Embarrassment', this "Poster Boy for White Guilt" to sit across the table from Vladimir Putin and come across as the numb-nut that he truly is because the best comparison I can make in this case, OBAMA vs. PUTIN will be a replay of BENTSEN vs QUAYLE. So while I believe Obama did well in school, and while I believe he could puke back all that he memorized so his teachers would give him good grades, I do not believe him to be of superior intellect. His inability to communicate rather paints the picture of a bum in a new suit.

Yeah, well.... I've voted 2nd Amendment for 28 years, even when it meant I was holding my nose and voting in a way I seriously disliked on other issues. This time, I am not doing it. There are too many issues where I disagree with McCain v.2008 and I don't trust him to do the few things remaining where I do agree with him.

The 2nd Amendment issue alone doesn't carry enough weight to balance the scales for me in this election. If only I could take the pro-gun, hunting and fishing part of Palin and graft it into Obama, I'd flat giddy to vote for him. Oh well... I'll still be holding my nose to vote but I'll sleep well with a clear conscience.
