Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default REAL change

I guess Obama can only give speeches about change. John McCain is delivering REAL honest to goodness change by teaming up with a woman running mate. If you want real change, it looks like you'll have to vote for McCain. Putting McCain in the white house puts a woman in an executive office for the first time in our history and sets her up for the best run at the presidency. VOTE CHANGE VOTE MCCAIN!!!!

It's 24 years too late to call that change. Walter Mondale picked Geraldine Ferraro as his running mate on the Democrat ticket in 1984.

True Arthur, but they lost. Even Geraldine F. was gracious today when asked about Palin. Is Obama's idea of change Biden with his long career? I think not. McCain/Palin ALL THE WAY!

Mondale wasn't elected, hence no change. To my knowledge, there has not been a woman in federal executive office yet. Hence, voting for McCain is a vote for change -- place a woman in executive office for the first time, maybe setting her up ideally to be the first woman president. Your reply was pretty easy to parry. Did you not forseemy response?

When I hear "change" and Biden in the same sentence it really chokes me up.

I have to say that I could not be more pleased with McCain's choice. I was thinking that it was going to be "ho-hum" but he really hit one out of the park. A woman that lives and hunts in AK, lifetime member of NRA....what a woman! I have a feeling that just living in AK has made her feathers extremely hard to ruffle. Good luck Dims.

McCain hasn't been elected yet, hence, no change. When/if he gets elected, then I'll be on board with ya.

Repubs can no longer harp on Obama's lack of experience with McCain's choice. Palin also lacks experience. Sorry, but McCain chose Palin to simply garner more female votes.

I keep reading that, but how dose that discredit McCains experience and nullify Obama's lack of. I don't think haveing Biden as his running mate made Obama anymore experienced. V.P.s have never made the big calls. Kinda of like saying a head coach is less experieced when he brings in a new assistant.

Coug, do you think that women are so shallow that they will change their vote simply due to the gender of the candidate?

Bernie covered the rest.
