Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Would you?

WOULD YOU....

Go along 'for the ride' if an airline captain had 143 days of ground school..?

Sail with ship commander with 143 days of school ...?

Go to a doctor with 143 days of med school ... ?

Hire an attorney with 143 days of law school ...?

Go to a dentist with 143 days of dental school .....????

Vote for a guy to be Commander In Chief of our Country with 143 days in the>Senate ...?

After 143 days of work experience, Obama believes he is ready to be
>Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of AbrahamLincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan.

From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senatewas actually in session and working.

Where in the world is this country going ... nuts?

143 days -- I keep leftovers in my refrigerator longer than that!!!

What does Barack Obama's running mate say about Barack Obama?

George Stephanopoulos asked Biden during a debate while he was still contesting Obama for the nomination: "You were asked, 'Is he ready?' You said, 'I think he can be ready but right now, I don't believe he is. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training.'

Biden: "I think that I stand by the statement."

And what does he say about John McCain?

Biden: "I would be honored to run with or against John McCain, because I think the country would be better off."

Well, you may need more than 143 days of "school" to be a doctor, dentist. pilot or lawyer, but there really is no such requirement to be president of the US. Maybe there should be a school for presidents like there is a West Point for future generals. That would eliminate a lot of clowns like Obama or Bush from ever even thinking of running for the presidency.

First off, Bush had a very well qualified resume and has shown excellent leadership these last 7+ years unlike the previous commander and cheif. As far as Obama goes, his is completely blank with nothing to show for his time spent out of school. For the West Point idea, my democrat friend believes this should be the case but I certainly don't believe in that idea.

That certainly doesn't change the fact that he did have a full resume. So nice try.

OK, but in Bush's case we could then conclude that having OVER 143 days of school didn't exactly help him much either.

So no one remembers when George Bush in the primaries talked about Reagan's "voodoo economics' and then became his running mate? Such short memories!

That's a disagreement on policy, not an assessment of leadership ability. Two different things. And, I don't think Bush also said "Carter seems to have a great plan..."

And what does that have to do with anything Beau. Bush Sr. had an even bigger resume.Besides Regan's trickle down plan has been proven a huge success many times over. Furthermore, just today in the USA Today, wages are up and the medium income grew 1.3% in 2007. Dang, more bad news for the Dems. Almost as bad a Obama's tanking poll numbers.

I have to ask this question, how far behind John McCain will Obama get before he bows out of the race? It will happen. I can sense it's already being thought about on your side. His numbers are going in the wrong direction this week and MCCain has added6 more points in his favorable get now a 60% rating and dropped 4 points in his unfavorables getting a 34%rating. Obama, last I check is below 50% favorable and losing ground in all catagories except for the black vote. Not looking good Obamanites. When do you throw in the towel?
