Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

My guess it will be Romney for McCain and Joe Biden for Obama.

He prob shouldn't have picked a guy so "a part of the system", this Biden guy has spent too many years as part of the same mess we have in washington. Obama should have gotten a fresh face, that hasn't been totally corrupted yet. I suspect he better have a really strong plan for change on all issues, or people might figure he needed experience. Biden is a strong talker, so maybe he will help fry McSame.

Biden? Puh-leeze... That corrupt liberal has been slammed so many times for plagarism is his speeches, it's not funny. Obama-lama-ding-dong and Biden deserve each other.

McCain better pick someone awesome who is a true republican but yet also balances him out at the same time. I wish he would consider Huckabee. [&o]

It will probably be Romney for McCain. GOP wins it IMO.

I don't see Bidden providing much of a boost to Obama. What would have happened if Obama picked Hillary Clinton (I'm talking about how this would affect his chances in November, not whether he would die mysteriously of an untraceable poison a month after he assumed office and Hillary would ascend the throne . . . er, assume the presidency)? What about some other woman? What about Sam Nunn? Bidden has little charisma. When he speaks he sounds like a drone. He certainly appears to me to be part of the Washington establishment as well as the wealthy, east coast establishment. I would view this as McCain dodging a bullet -- a more savvy VP pick might have given a more substantial boost to Obama.

Without knowing much about Bidden, I would guess there are many, many public utterances of Bidden on the record that can be used to characterize him as a liberal. If I were McCain, my game plan would be to lay on a heavy dose of these two liberals making liberal statements and paint them for what they are . . . classic liberals.

Having the name "Clinton" on the ballot would've guaranteed the conservative base would solidify behind McCain and and turn them out to vote in droves. Biden won't excite anybody. Republicans are fat and sassy having held the White House all but 12 of the past 40 years. Democrats are hungry. Obama's probably betting on there being more Republicans sitting on their hands than Democrats this time around.
