Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default term limits

Should " We The People" , Force Our government to have Term Limits on Congress and the Senate? What about Mayors, Judges, State Senate and State Congress?
Should They serve only a Max of 10 or 12 Yrs?
Think about it.... All this guys do is try to get re-elected.
Same boring guys, No new blood
Same shell game with grabbing $$$$
How can a Congressman or Senator make about $100,000.00 a year serve 20 Yrs retire as a Millionaire?
Think about it.

Boats as long as there are the two major parties we will never see term limits!

All the bills proposed to limit terms were done in such a manner to where every republican and democrat could honestly say " I voted for term limits" . This was one of the rare times in history where both parties sat down together to arrange a game plan to ensure there would be no term limits, yet every one of them could say they wanted term limits. It is politics at its best!

Well... you still have the option of voting for someone other than the incumbant, regardless of how much he/she spends.

I think that every public office should have definate term limits. Our politicians are taught from the very beginning that their single most important job while in office is to get re-elected. By any means available. They are also taught from the very beginning to cheat, lie, steal, and in some rare cases kill to remain in office. It is my strong personal belief that folks who attain elected government office are one of the lowest lifeforms.

Look at our last Presidential campaign. What a wonderful choice. We had the choice to vote for one of the two lousiest candidates ever. Dumb and dumber.
