Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Hypocrisy

I believe the Democrats have suddenly
developed a keen sense of morality.

John Edwards has been banned from making a

speech at the Democratic National Convention

for having an affair and lying about it.

Instead Bill Clinton will be speaking in his place!

Only too true.

But I don't think Republicans want to go too deep into a discussion about cheating and lying about it, given their nominee.

Yeah. You're right. Because being tortured as a POW for years and coming home a different person than you were when you left is the same thing. Oh wait... No it's not.

I could be wrong, but didn't the NY Times apologize for no proof of their allegations of McCain's affair? If it's true, absolutely McCain needs to be held to account like Edwards. But from what I'm seeing, there was never anything beyond a left wing paper alleging it. Funny though, with all the people who knew about the factual Edwards' affair, the NY Times didn't break that story.

I don't see why the Times would apologize. McCain admits to it. More than one affair, actually, if you count him being with his current wife while seperated from his first wife. If you'd watched the profile on CNN the other night, he didn't even deny the records show he and Cindy applied for a marriage license even before his divorce was final. I guess it only depends on how much you think time excuses such indescretions. It's been nearly 30 years.

I think its pretty safe to say that his relationship with his previous wife was pretty much over with @ that point. Besides, some divorces can take months to finalize...

LMAO, or maybe coming home and finding that your wife and the mother of your child wasnt the pretty little thing you left behind.Or finding a newer wife thats 18 years younger than you are and whos daddy just happens to have buttloads of money and political connections.Hypocrasy is an apt name for this thread.Oh, to answer your question, yes, cheating on your wife is cheating on your wife, being a POW isnt a free pass for everything.

Do you have any evidence of this? Please post what went down.
