I apologize in advance as we really don't need an more "Obama" threads in here, but I find this, simply amazing.
I guess he's redifining religion to suit him, and while it may be argued that many, MANY people, groups, churches do that, I'd say he's on the accelerated program.
BTW...this was taken of an HNI banner ad (sponsored by google, so what are you going to do)

What the....?? You're bashing him over the sales pitch about a book someone wrote about him?
No Arthur, I'm not bashing him over what someone else did. I'd be willing to bet that Obama had a huge hand in this himself given the J. Wright fiasco. I actually think that this is superb spin doctoring. People don't write intimate books about someone's faith without full cooperation from that person and although I know it's fine to cooperate if you want to...I just think the whole thing is BS and attempted CYA by 'bama

NO, and I won't give him a penny to support his cause. Have you read it?
First sentence from the link,
Discover the unapologetically Christian and liberal Barack Obama"”and how he represents the changing face of religion in American politics.
I do not believe Obama is a Christian. This is what I think, I am not judging him, that is up to God. In a previous thread on this board Obama was quoted as saying something like, "I believe there are many ways." It was in the context of accepting many different religions as ways to get to God.
Jesus himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
So, he calls himself a Christian, but states he does not believe one of the foundational beliefs of a Christian.
No, I haven't read it and don't know a flippin' thing about what's in the book. And neither do you. I'm afraid you've been offended by your own imagination.
