Your guy is the one who said "no" to public financing of the campaign. And, he's got oil money in his pockets too... And, he's actually on record saying he won't take their money. So, he's a liar and a hypocrite.
I'd like to know how much money Handgun Control Inc., PETA, moveon.org., and similar groups have donated, and to which candidate.
As best I can find, obama has "only" accepted $400,000 from oil companies--so far anyway.

Uh, then one should not be able to take any type of donation since it would be buying your vote. That would actually be fine with me. But, until that rule happens, people shouldn't have to make moral decisions about accepting money from legitimate companies.

I'm all for changing the financing method. As is, the bigger the company the more they can grease, and the more power of their lobby, no matter the topic. It is the very thing hurting this country more than all things combined.
