Default Dems Take Action On Fuel Prices

Well, the Pelosi crewrefused to have an up or down vote on doing something about fuel prices, then ordered the reporters out, cameras off, and lights out so they could leave for a FIVE WEEK "recess". Nice huh?

But don't forget, she is saving the planet by making them drill somewhere else and giving us high fuel prices.

This single issue should put McCain in the White House come January. Dems are basically telling people to suck it up and conserve. Try telling that to the guy who has to drive 50 miles to work, what's he supposed to do, ride a bike there! McCain had BETTER run ads on this issue explaining how the democrats want to do nothing to lower prices other than demanding that people drive less!

Meanwhile in the Florida Straits the Chinese are getting ready to tap into a lot of oil. But that is ok refugees from Cuba wash up on our beaches but the occasional oil slick from the chinese drill platforms won't happen. Right

I am that guy, 53 miles to be exact and 53 miles back every day for 6 days a week.I parked the truck and bought a POS 86 Plymouth Horizon to drive back and forth, car sucks but the gas milage is great.

When we hit near 4$ a gallon I called the main office in Canada and told em I couldnt do it anymore, basically gave them4 choices, I was gonna quit, they could put me on the road again somewhere where they cover the fuel expenses, they could pay me more money, or the could fire me.My supervisor went to bat for me because Im the best guy he has at the moment and got me a raise to help cover my travel expenses for the week.Im afraid he kinda screwed me in the process though, I want to go back on the road and he knows it, but he also knows if I start traveling he wont get me back.

My wife was also working the same distance from home, she was able to find a job she doesnt like as much as her ER position but pays the same closer to home so she quit a job she loved to take one she can barely stand in a Nursing Home.

Even with all the changes were still paying out the butt for fuel every month and its starting to add up fast, winters gonna kill us at this rate[&o]

Before his party deserted their employers, obama suggested that just maintaining proper air pressure in your tires and getting routine maintenence done on your vehicle would save you enough to make up the difference in the price of fuel. Reckon that's how he can afford to travel in that big 'ol jet?

I guarantee that if they said ok to offshore drilling..oil would fall below 100 dollars a barrel in the next few weeks. This is only further proof that they don'tgive a Rats azz about anybody or their plight.
