Ted Stevens indicted, longest-serving GOP senatorSeattle Times - 46 minutes ago
Sen. Ted Stevens, the longest-serving Republican senator and a figure in Alaska politics since before statehood, was indicted today on seven counts of failing to disclose thousands of dollars in services he received from a company that helped renovate and maintain his home. The first sitting U.S. senator to face federal indictment since 1993, Stevens has been dogged by a federal investigation ...
I knew that had to be who the headlines were for. I was surprised it took so long when you heard about the media reports years ago. They sounded pretty bad but then again it's the liberal media that was doing the reporting.
My guess is that it's a pretty weak case becase it has taken years to get this far. I guess the pressure needed to be cranked up on others to get this far. We'll see, he'll get his day in court.

Darn that liberal press. They railroaded that fine young Republicancongressman Mark Foley. They accused him of chasing little boys. Imagine that.
Why do you always leave out the fact that in Foley's case they were over 18 (legal age) and the fact that both the Dems knew all about his emails for 6 months? They didn't care, I don't care about anyone's sex life. To each their own. You however are infatucuated over such things.
It's a shame you started this thread yet found the need to jump over board when some facts are discussed. Are you really that shallow Falcon. Unable to discuss things you can't read in main stream articles?

Oh, wow!!! First of all, the kid he was after was 15 years old. Like Karl Rove you have put the white house spin on everything.
No sir he wasn't but I thought this was about Ted Stevens after all?

Peta, your reading skills aren't that poor are they? I pointed out this story is years old and that the fact it's been so long it may be a weak case. Then given the fact he is so old, he may not live to be convicted. However, I give you credit to challenge me. It seems ?Falcon's rasins have shriveled up to small.

Spin a bottle in the middle of the chambers and when that bottle stops spinning it will most likelypoint at someone that has taken illegal money , has perjured themselves, stretched the lawor even murdered. The Stevens case is old news. WHy don't you mention the Harry Reid real estate deal that is not being investigated a. because he is a Dem is shielded by the mediaor the port deal in SF where Pelosi's husband stands to become even richer from a bill just recently signed?
