Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Israel vs Iraq... I will make a guess

Not starting a pool and I am not sure that I even want to be right on this. My best guess is that Israel will hit Iranian reactors in Nov.. They will need to do it before change of power here in the US, and I think they will also want to get it over before the Dec holiday. (For them.) Thus, November airstrike. Oil will shoot up like crazy for a bit until we sink their fast boats and open the strait.

Any other estimates?

They need to do it before January in case Obama gets sworn in. In fact, they need to do it before November in case they need US support in hammering Iran and shutting down Iranian attacks in the weeks afterward. Also, the longer they wait, the more likely Iran has progressed too far to be turned back. I'm guessing September...

Better sooner than later. I think it needs to be done now. Iran has said it won't rest until Israel is wiped from the face of the earth. A promise like that needs to get someone"™s attention. The problem is that Iran now has most of their facilities hidden in under ground bunker bomb proof locations. The only way to get at them is nukes which would be condemned globally. I doubt that Israel could launch an invasion on the ground and not get their lunch handed to them. The only way they can win something like that is with air superiority with the aircraft and weapons wesell them. You can"™t destroy what the bombs can"™t reach. You can eliminate the roads, power lines and other items associated with the sites but the actual fissionable material is probably safely hidden far from the surface.

I agree with what you are saying C.I., but if Isreal attacks and Iran attacks Isreal and the U.S. of A. we would then be drawn into it with or without a global condemnation. We would have a right to defend ourselves and at the same time keep a promise to protect Isreal. I hope it doesn't come down to this but it sure can happen..

The timing will be directly related to China agreeing to loan us enough money to start another war.[:@]

If we are still supposed to be fighting the global war on terror that Bush announced and everyone applauded, the U.S. should be going into Iran before Israel does.
