Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Senate Passes Bailout Bill-Bush To Sign

15 of the skunks did not even bother to vote. Looks like "conservatism" left the senate Republicans in this election year.

WASHINGTON - Congress passed a housing rescue bill Saturday aimed at sparing 400,000 struggling homeowners from foreclosure. President Bush is expected to sign the measure quickly.

The measure, approved by a 72-13 vote during a rare weekend session in the Senate, lets homeowners who cannot afford their monthly payments refinance into more affordable government-backed loans rather than losing their homes. The bill also offers a temporary financial lifeline to the troubled mortgage companies Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and tightens controls over them.

Yea, this bill stinks. If people can't afford the home, why did they buy it? I bet even after the bailout they still won't be able to afford thier home.

This is no doubt a political ploy because of the election. These people seem to conspire for anything to get the Party in a better light and into office. Just another party flipflop

Actually, this is a curious blend of corporate and individual welfare. Ultimately, the reason I think it passed so soon, and we have the greasy politicians in mind here, was because if we did not tend to this, the stock market would fall even faster. Poor babies thinking about their margins and investments.

Ah, may the fleas of a thousand camels nest in their crotch. Now, how is that for a penance, guys?
