Why should taxpayers pay for your health care. You have the same opportunities we all do to advance, get accepted in a top notch college, get a scholarship, etc. I got a science scholarship, you can too. Can't expect the American people to pay your way because you were lazy can you?
Because in the US, we have programs to take care of military and thier families. The US does not always do the best job at it either. I am also a military brat, and got VA benefits from father's death in Vietnam. He gave all. So you don't believe we deserved the crappy health care we got from champus? Believe me, its not that great.

Funny thing how so many folks from countries with socialized health care come to the U.S. for treatment. Well, actually it's no suprise after talking to folks that live in countries with socialized health care.
The government does such a wonderful job with the taxpayer's money (social security ring a bell?) I can't see why everyone doesn't want to be forced to give even more of their hard earned money to them.

Never thought of it from this angle. Don is right, it is a job. And with any job, you have contract for the job to get paid, and possibly medical, maybe even a health club, who knows.
