it won't be long now:

1: you'll read of local ranchers being prosecuted for killing wolves preying on livestock
2: you'll read of local people being attacked by wolves because there's too many of 'em.

Can only hope the wolves get the a-hole judge who pre-empts sound wildlife policy while he goes for a nice
walk around the block.

I'm sure wolves aren't permitted in the gated community where the guy lives. I also feel quite certain the longest walk that guy ever takes is from his car to the building where he works. You know, there's no air conditioning outside.

There's no justice in this world. Still, wolves are wild animals; they are unpredictable and can be impulsive when it strikes them to be so. So, there's still hope....maybe they can squeeze one in between the parking space and the main entrance ? I'm an optimist, you see....

I said this last year when many seemed giddy about them lining up to "be the first to hunt wolves" in western states where the klintoons and bruce babbit started this "reintroduction" of Gray Wolves over a dozen years ago. People in the northern 1/3 of MN have had to deal with this of federal judges, sierra club, wwf and other leftist enviro-whackos continuing to block state management control and limited control of wolves here for more than the past decade. Don't hold you breath if you think you're going see hunting wolves in western states anytime soon, if history here is an example of what this extremists will do there as well. Common-sense, private property and public safety will have nothing to do with what the federal courts and the eviro-whackos do to draw this process out for years. Sorry, I wish I could be more optimistic than that.

Let it be. There is a history as old as time concerning wolves/wild dogs and that history says they will be hunted down.

It's best this way, if they were kept in check they would continue to be only a hunter/rancher problem. Turn them loose and let the reintroduction of edgumaction begin.

I'll never spend penny one to kill one. Soon enough they'll pay us, always have always will.

Wolves don't make me as nervous as cougars but things can go bad with them. I was in the Chippewa one year w/tent and a wolf ran rabbit through the grounds one night. All kinds of people packed up and left the next morning.

The problem is, anyone who does this without legal authority or license can be fined $100,000 and jailed for 1 year for killing a Gray Wolf. I know that in Ohio or other states where they don't have these big predators protected by the federal gov't it may not seem like a big deal. To people live in wolf country and for those with livestock and livelihood depend upon protecting what's theirs, this is a big deal!

I am with you. Yes, I appreciate the role of wolves and cougars and when I wander around in the deep woods & thickets, I know I am takiing my chances. But when they dash up & eat you while you are trying to stay in shape, well, there is a reason we tried to get rid of the dam things.
