Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default A Difference Between Two 'Barry's

Barry runs for president. His father had converted from his non-Christian birth religion. Barry says he's a Christian. Conservatives accept him at his word.

Barack runs for president. His father had left his non-Christian birth religion. Barack says he's a Christian. Conservatives say Barack is hiding his true colors.

Even if you remove the question of Islamic terrorists, the conservatives sure accepted Goldwater at face value while they slammed Obama.

Yes, I see the difference.

Or it could be so simple that he has ultra left views and would be an even worse president than Jimmy Carter, and would divide our houses even more than they are now, if that is possible. The American people needs the houses to start working together.

Beau, we really don't need a goofy name like barrack hussien to not elect bama. Its kinda like icing on the cake. He's a bafoon.

Are you saying Barak now has the name of "Barry?"

No. I'm saying a guy named Barry ran for president. His father had converted from a non-Christian religion. Conservatives accepted it when Barry said he was a Christian.

So a guy named Barack runs for president. His father had left a non-Christian religion. Conservatives keep alleging that
Barack is not a Christian!

You see the difference?

And I can spell buffoon.

Didn't you read the interview that BigDuane put up with bama and questions on Christianty? Clearly anyone that knows the Bible, would know he does not believe in the whole bible, and does not believe it is the divine word of God. No matter if your barry or barack, those are kinda prerequisites to being a Christian. Hey, lots of people with names smith sit in church every Sunday and don't believe in the bible and pick out parts they like, and I don't consider them Christians either.

Want to call a time out here, and ask a quick question for the forum. I see this quite a bit, and really only on the political forum. People worried about spelling, grammar, or correct punctuation marks. Why would one care about dottin all the I's and crossin the T's on a open forum. Am I the only one that just kinda writes it down and does not worry about it on a open public forum? I guess I put that much care into resumes or a white paper I am presenting at a conference, you know where there is money involved. Just never gave it much thought on a forum. Curious of others views.

I can't spell either bigcountry, but Beau Quiville has a good point about the double standard, and leverage used because of a name.

Only place I can even remotely see the difference is, nobody has questioned McCain's Christianity. Which I have yet to see much proof.
