Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

RyanK, I guess by now you realize that your signature is not a quote from Obama's book but an internet chain email smear. Check Snopes.

Pretty old fart (soon to be 58). Married, empty nester. Beloved daughter is through with Vet school, married and soon to provide us with our first grandchild. Education; yes. Mostly Conservative leaning with some Libertarian characteristics thrown in. Can't stand slackers or goobermint leeches. Certainly not rich, but detest those exhibiting severe cases of wealth envy. Love my country as it is... even with all the flaws (read Liberals).

Age almost 28

Occupation: Stay at home mom

Political views: Mostly conservative. I am pro-life, pro-gun (even though I don't own one) I am all for giving a helping hand and against giving un-limited hand outs. I am not against the war in Iraq- Everyone thought there was WMD's not just Bush, and I am all for the promotion of freedom for all. I don't mind immigrants as long as they come here legally. I am American and speak English so I want my doctors to speak English well, along with my children's teachers. I am not against being a bilingual country but what other language do you choose as there are many coming from S. America, Africa,Asia, you get my point. As for a national language,I feel it should be English as this is what has been taught inpublic schools for many years.

My husband is 29, he pours concrete (thus my user name) and is extremely conservative.

We have three children Isaac is 8 and in 2nd grade, Ariel is 6 and in 1st grade and Nikolai is 4.

I enjoy, shooting my bow with Josh and my kids. All 3 of them shoot bow. I love to read, paint, draw, sew,We teachthe pre-schoolclass at Sunday School, and I help organize VBS, and a womans retreat for the elder ladies at our church. I volunteer at the community garden and work with children that come from broken homes and have behavioral issues. When Nikolai goes to school full time I will go back to school to be an RN. I want to work in a Neonatal unit. (Premature babies)

I would post a pic of all of us but I don't know how so if you want a pic I'll need someone to help as I have tried before and haven't been able to figure it out.

There is a picture of me and my family posted in the religion forum. It was taken on the 16th of Aug. at my brother in-laws wedding. It is the newest photo of all of us together, and a bit grainy but my kids are beautiful.
