Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

age: I will tell you how old I am, old enough to know I'm getting old, you young bucks will soon learn what that means,

degrees: Graduated from school of hard knocks, top of my class.
reality: Eight grade education functionally illiterate. have taught myself how to write on the internet.

occupation: Make money, the old fashion way, work hard for it.

political affiliation: Register democratic, father was Democratic, his father was Democratic, taught to revere FDR, Bill Clinton lost me when he said "I did not have sexually relations with that woman"

The Democrat party lost me when I realized the where creating a entitlement state, with Republican's help. Voting for slower party that's taking us down the Socialist, Marxist, freedom eating road, that leads be to my hunting paradise.
respectfully, NOTA

I dislike the entitlements programs for the most part. The most misused programs in the federal government. You need to work for what you get.

Political Views: Generally conservative, but not an iron clad matter. I believe there are bonafide threats in the world and that it is prudent to remain alert and strong. I think everyone should carry their own weight when they are able and that everyone should be free to make their own choices but then accept the consequences of their choices. I do not object entirely to helping people down on their luck -- social safety net -- but the problem is it is so easy for human nature to become dependent on this safety net and live on the dole as an entitlement. If I were to support any particular social spending it would be more public money for university education to help those with limited means go to college. I think the increased income from these college educated individuals would more than return the investment. I'm very staunchly pro-second amendment and feel the low hanging fruit"common sense" gun control laws were harvested long, long ago . . . like maybe in the 1930's.

Occupation: Patent agent -- I write patent applications and reply to office actions in an intellectual property law firm. I spent 15 years as an engineer and found that this new profession is an improvement on engineering (less uncompensated overtime, less pressure cooker deadlines, less off-shoring risks).

Education: BA English, minor Philosophy 1981; BS Electrical Engineering 1995

Personal interests: Cooking, reading, hunting, backpacking

Family: Married once, still married, 21 years. 18 year old son leaving for Texas A&M University this fall; 16 year old daughter will be a junior this fall; 11 year old daughter will be a 6th grader this fall.

Location: Live in a suburb north of Dallas, Texas. Lived for 15 years in Oklahoma near Tulsa. Born and raised in Illinois, on a farm.
My son and my money went aggieland class of 2000. gigem. Jim

Hey guys, just joined the forum about a month or so ago but better late than never, right?
-Tyler age 20 from the great state of Wisconsin
-Education: Currently attending the University of Wisconsin Stout and going for a Business Administration major with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship (looking forward to contribute to society and create more jobs in the future)
-Jobs: Traveling lumberjack shows, I am actually a professional logroller and boom runner (the watersports of lumberjack competition). I also own an exterior house painting franchise aswell!!
-Interests: Play paintball with Stout's national team, hunting, fishing, camping, guns, and conservative women...
-Political Views: I am one of the most politically incorrect people you will meet, I say what I mean and I mean what I say and I do not care if you are offended. I do not like anything to do with Obama or his administration, and I am the proud president of the College Republicans here at Stout!!
PS: This is probably my favorite part of the forum

I'm Nick 23, and I'm a Libertarian. Grew up in Tennessee, I believe you should be able to do damn near anything you want as long as you don't hurt anyone physically.

I'm Pro-Gun, anti-registry ( None of the Governments Business what tools I got in my house)
Pro-Choice (Don't agree with the concept of abortion, but I do not have a vagina, and I do not intend to tell anyone with one what they can and can't do with their bodies.)
Anti War(unless we are attacked, then unleash hell)
And I believe the Austrian school of Economics works best as opposed to Keynesian Policies our Republican and Democratic Parties have adopted.

I'm a Student/ Carpenter, and hope soon to be a hunting guide.

Glad to have you on the board. I made the wrong first impression. Sorry. I assumed you were one of our trolls many, false usernames.
