Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default U.S. Can't Search for Bin Laden in Pakistan

NEW YORK"” Pakistan's top diplomat said Saturday there are no U.S. or other foreign military personnel on the hunt for Usama bin Laden in his nation, and none will be allowed in to search for the Al Qaeda leader.[/b]

In an interview with The Associated Press, Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said his nation's new government has ruled out such military operations, covert or otherwise, to catch militants.

Pakistan's newly elected civilian government is negotiating with tribal elders to secure peace with militants along the Afghan border in hopes of curbing a surge in violence. It is a step back from the heavy-handed tactics pursued by the previous government led by supporters of President Pervez Musharraf.

Tension between the U.S. and Pakistan have been high after Pakistan said U.S. aircraft killed 11 of its soldiers at a border post in June. U.S. officials have said coalition aircraft dropped bombs during a clash with militants.

...what is with these Paki's anyway ?

I guess we should take them off the friendly list and put them right where they belong. No more aid, no more money. Problem is ...they got nukes so we continue to kiss their ass.

I agree, CI. I always found it funny that the dems are asking, "Where's Bin Laden" when the exact same people wouldcry foul if we went into Pakistan to get him![:'(]

The funny part abut it all is we defeated the Taliban in Afghanistan, with the UN occupied itand Pakistan is our allie. Most people believe Bin Ladin, if alive is somewhere along the border between the 2 countries. We own one country and are allies with the other and we can't go get the worlds most sought after criminal? I just don't get it. Clinton had him cold on more than one ocassion and didn't call for a kill. Almost like somebody high up doesn't want him to be caught.

That is not too surprising, actuallywe should expect that.To those people over there it may seem as though we are trying to take over that whole part of the world, andinfluence their way oflife. I am sure that alot of those middle eastern countries feel like the US is a threat. Hey and lets face it Osama, isa powerfulvoice that has declared war on the US, so in other words Pakistan may feel as though he may end up being more of an ally.[/b]

I dont think they would cry foul if we had sufficent enough evidence that he was in FACT in the country and the government was helping him hide.

The problem comes when a CERTAIN SOMEONE gives reasons to invade a country and they turn out to be false.
