How compassionate is that for our working poor who need to get by? Funny, I read where at most, wind will account for 20% of our energy needs in 30 years, when our energy needs will likely be twice what they are today. If we drill, oil will be online in 5 to 8 years.

"Exploit" actually works better than "explore" in the context McCain used it.
Exploitation of our offshore resources is imperative while we work on the development of alternative energy sources. Too bad the democrat party is too stupid to recognize this simple fact...
