The only "crap" being peddled around here, is by the left who forces the issue of bio-fuel, no matter how
damaging it may be to domestic food prices, and also by the left which refuses to recognize the simple
reality of supply and demand as it applies to oil. The only reason we have speculation on the price of oil is directly due to the demand the world puts on the supply and the industry's ability to deliver it. Now that I've stated what I believe to be the cause, I basically disagree with the article as meritless. I will accept the blitherings of the Euro-trash in this regard, much as the driver on the 'short bus' tolerates the incoherent babblings of the people being transported therein.........
Increasing demand for various crops that are used to produce bio-fuels will lead to rising pricesfor those commodities. What a revelation

Maybe it's not a thought for some self-serving schmucks who can afford to pay, but what about the folks who don't drive but still eat ? What about the folks who DO drive and are encountering hardships in feeding their families ? Do you think they give a flying crap about the OPEC tit, or the cost of a gallon of milk for their kids ? You seem to have a very hard head for truth to get into. The crap is peddled by the right side as much as any. You seem awfull certain that the industry's reasons match yours. They might be just grabbing all they can get, while the Republicans are in office. maybe
When oil hits 9 bucks a gallon, folks won't even be able to drive to the store to pay for that 88 cents a can hominy. To repeat, I WANT OFF THE OPEC TIT (stomping his foot and sticking out his lower lip).
