Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Rush's Comment on the NRA 7/1/8

For all the people who think the NRA is ineffective, take a listen to this:

http://www.varmintal.com/rush-nra-7-1-8.mp3

I was glad to hear Rush say this. It is a very short .mp3 clip.

Normally I consider Limbaugh an insufferable, hypocritical windbag, but this time we agree.

Rush is awesome and very intelligent! He really does make liberals look foolish with half his brain tied behind his back.

It's the liberals who make themselves look foolish, Rush only points them out.

Bravo! for the NRA. I have been and continue to be a member since I began hunting as an adult in 2002 -- after a long hiatus after leaving the farm as a youngster.

Rush suggests that Obama has made a position flip-flop on the second amendment. While I agree Obama's words can be read that way -- and that it is Obama's intention, I believe, to have his words read that way -- I don't think they represent any change of his position at all. How I read Obama's "The second amendment is an individual right" is Obama reading directly from the minority opinion. It seems I read an early blurb about the decision that indicated that the minority used language including "second amendment is an individual right" but then encumbered that "individual right" -- rather self-contradictorily in my judgment -- with linkage to the militia construct. Anybody who takes any comfort in Obama's words about that court decision is naieve. Remember, these are the folks who quibble along the lines of "it depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is."

My back has really been hurting me lately. I wonder if Rush could hook me up with a little something, something
