Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Some other food for thought 7-9 current judges were appointed by Republicans.

I'm a little concerned though. The 2nd Amendment is pretty clear. Shouldn't have taken more than a couple minutes to come to a decision and maybe a half hour to have someone type it up.

Why is "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" so difficult to understand?

Aught Six: I am not against gun control . . . I just think the good gun control laws were written long ago.

I am very excited about this Supreme Court case. I think a strong, signal decision in this case could do much to solidify and confirm our second amendment rights in the face of the gathering Democratic storm. Suppose the Democrats clean up in November and (1) take the presidency and (2) increase their majorities in the Senate and House, what are the likely consequences for gun control legislation? I cannot imagine the Democrats have learned their lesson about not getting their necks chopped off in the gun control legislation trap . . . they will go back and with more vigor. A good strong opinion in this Heller case can do much to help us overcome and persist in the face of this coming flood.

Yeah, one thing these democrats are besides being wrong on most issues is persistent on foisting their control over people even after being soundly rejected by the American public. Think Hillary and nationalized health care.

Rumor has it Scalia wrote the opinion of the court.

I can only hope it turns out to be true.

I heard a guy on a preview for that 30days show....say "a gun is just an inadiment object" and I though, true, so if we outlaw guns, whats next knives? bats?

I mean a knife is a lethal inadiment object as are many other things....

sure a gun can do damange at great distances, but most shootings aren't done at great distances.

but i guess there are laws about carrying knives too,
