I do believe based on your description that was it. As an enigma christian (someone who's actually read the book, In fact 7 times in 3 years) I also have a friend who was born in the Jordon and is muslim. I enjoy his company and advise all to form the same relationship. They do live a "do unto others" life. Very nice people and it's that that will win the day, not fear.
If you don't want the country to change, clean up your act america. I am so sick of the protectionist attitude from so called free market people who have little to offer but "let me rip you off and at the same time insult you" message, and "If you don't like it your un american".
Muslim offer a powerful message. Your free to slam it while offering nothing in return, but that will only go so far. Put up or be made to shut up. No offense, just life. I'm no muslim nor plan to ever be, but like I said I'm an enigma, multitudes of americans are not. Kindness is a powerful tool and many americans will respond positively to it. They do not believe Chirst died on the cross, Judas did. Leaves me out.
As far as churches go, not been in one that didn't slam someore else, what's the diff. Went to one Easter, daughter was playing the piany. Pastor started off the message making fun off evolutionist. My attitude is, with such a message as the christian has to talk about, wasting time putting someone else down just doesn't make sense.
