I see that california is now burning. I bet its gods way of getting back at them for allowing gay marriage!

God is not burning brush fires out ofanger, mother nature has been doing this for eons.

I think California's ridiculous forest policies (i.e. don't clear any brush, fallen timber, etc. out) probably have more to do with the fires, many of which were caused by lightning. I'm sure God is displeased but just not sure this is necessarily his way of communicating that to us.

When I was stationed in San Diego in the early 80s it was commonplace for multimillion dollar homes to burn to the ground in the brush country because the homeowners weren't permitted to plow fire breaks around their property or mow the brush. The reason? A particular species of rat that apparently existed nowhere else was living there. So...Moving the rat to another place was just totally out of the question?

Yea that's the reason why. How about all the previous years they have had fires God ticked because the Padres and Raiders have been doing bad?
