How much have gas prices gone up since the democrats took over Congress?
Right around $1.50 MORE per gallon, I believe. Heard it on Hannity today, but don't figure you'll hear about it from the media, even though Congress has more power than the president, and Bush WANTS to open up for drilling to increase supply and lower the cost.

Doesn't matter--it's still President Bush's fault, and next year it will be President McCain's fault, unless (heaven forbid) Obama gets elected. If that is the case, then it will automatically revert back to President Bush, until another Republican POTUS is elected, then it will be his/her fault.

Dont know how much the Democrats in congress has to do with it, but can tell you every time Bush pops that Iran war drum, Speculator run the price up 10.00 more a barral. If you all have not noticed, your not paying much attention.

If everyone wants to know how oil is shooting up, I will give ya a hint. Speculators and investers. Its a bull market, and they are on a roll. Just like any stock or commodity, when they are on a roll, they go with it. There confidence is high, and they investing heavy in futures, more they invest, higher it goes, more they make, more they invest. Same with tech stocks just 8 years ago. Or bio stocks, or internet stocks. My freakin company stock went from 22 dollars to 200 dollars. Were we worth it? Heck no!!!!!!!!! But bubble bursted, things are under control now.
Everybody step right up, and invest in futures. Open an account. Roll the dice. Make money off of it. I bought 10K of gold 5 years ago. Is gold overpriced, you freakin bet, and thats cool with me.

first off, I could say that since I've owned my Jetta diesel, gas has went up $1.50 a gallon thus its my fault.
That isn't true and unless the Dems have done something to cause it, its not their fault.
That said, what HAVE They done to stop it? Likely nothing, allowing it to go out of control and GW stumbles around so badly He can't do anything but drive it higher ....... and Obama laughs the whole way to the White House
