No one said it was strong. It is still sound. FYI full employment is concidered anything under 6% so guess what? Also, Bush has a lower rate of unemployment avg. then any past president in the 70,80 and 90's. I would also point out the title is wrong. It should read all you Dems/ economy is good lovers....
Bush has had his tax cut proposal to make them permenant on the table for years. Dems deo nothing despite it has produce record revenue into the treasury. They are set to expire and will bring you the largest tax increase in history. If that isn't enough, Obama plans on raising taxes on everyone out there despite what he claims that he would spare the middle to lower class. His tax hikes on capital gains (not for the money but to make it fair) and his corporate tax increase will hit the poor very hard. Corporations don't pay taxes, we the people pay that hiden tax and it doesn't discriminate between the classes.

Dunno who the 5.5% is. I've got lots of friends and family scattered across 7 or 8 states and none of them are out of work. I just got a guaranteed six months extension on my job contract, with other projects lining up after that.
Get back to me when it hits 8 percent.

OMG... the unemployment rate has SOARED to 5.5%, which, by the way, is about what it was at the start of Clinton's 2nd term... In 1981, when Reagan took office, Jimmy Carter had driven us into a recession that pushed the rate up to almost 11%, inflation was 17%, interest rates were 15%+... But, you're right. Perhaps we should opt for change, and pick a candidate who is even more liberal than Jimmy...

FYI BD, them Dems in congress don't careone bit. They are doing everything they can to continue to tip this country into a recession because they feel it helps their weak canidate this fall. Wake up and look at reality. I gave you the facts that are on the table. Please tell me exactly what is on the Dems schedule today? This week in the Senate, they scheduled a debate on raising your energy prices 50% over the coming years. Do you think that really will help?

Yep, we are struggling. You should have seen all the soup lines that i drove past on the way to work this morning. The sky is falling and it could reach the point where kids will have to settle for the $200 Kobe Bryant tennis shoes instead of the those $300 Lebron James shoes.[]
