Goodness, whats wrong with that? I am from Ky and WV, and its kinda universal joke. Kinda like pollock jokes. The problem with the joke, is how close to the truth it is. I am from the McCoy family, and had a heck of a time finding a girlfriend I was't distantly related too. I will admit it, I dated my 3rd cousin. Nothin wrong with that.

I ecspecially like the quotes at the bottom. I am sure he is the only politician that swore and told people off. Not that I am saying that it is good behavior but when someone makes a joke, mind you about himself they have to drag up dirt on him because they weren't amused by his jesting.

I wonder if Obama being related to Cheney would hurt his votes. If I were Cheney I would be tempted to make jokes about it at both of our expenses.

I don't find it offensive at all. In fact, I find it a relief that a politiciancan have a sense of humor.Being PC all the time is boring....

I actually thought is was quite funny, right up to the point he apologized for it. I suppose it's like a white man telling a "black" joke, or a man telling a "woman-driver" joke. Those jokes are only allowed to be told by those who could be offended. But I don't get all up in arms when Dave Chapell makes fun of me because I can't dance, nor jump, nor run very fast.....

People need to lighten up A LOT!!!

Cheney has all the reason in the world to crack jokes, The clock is ticking down and as he said " I'm not running for election this fall" . This guy is ubeleavable, He and Bush have accomplished what their goals were, so now he "appears" laughing. hum
