You guys got an early christmas gift. GM will close 4 plants in NA. It's will be their truck divisions because high gas prices are here to stay. Look I dont know all the details about why the GM plant closed, and that does suck for those people. I can relate I was laidoff at the lumber company I used to work for because of the housing market.
My question isare you saying that global warming is not a bigdeal, or do you beleive it is just a theory. I wonder that because of the title of this post it sounds like you are just blowing it off.
You do know that one degree increase in the worlds oceans will cause dramatic climate changes. This is a serious crisis.
Global warming as caused by human activity is a farce. It is sad to see people in America lose jobs based on a lie.
On the other hand, I think if truck plants are closing, it may have to do more with the price of gasoline and relative terrible sales than anything else, but I'm no expert.

Second if we dont cause global warming how do all the carbon dioxide and other pollutiants that are being traped in the Earth's atmosphere and are not letting the suns heat escape, get there.

You know, don't you, that "carbon dioxide and other pollutants" represent only a miniscule portion of the total of all "greenhouse gases". Water vapor constitutes approximately 95% of all the greenhouse gases. Too bad that 2/3 of the planet is covered with water... I'm all for reasonable methods to reduce pollution, developing cleaner fuels and technologies, etc. But "reasonableness" has to be weighed in the balance with our continued economic well-being. And, I don't think that imposing trillions in new taxes and undertaking actions which will cause even higher fuel prices is the way to go...

CO2 does not cause warming, warming itself increases CO2. Global warming is crap, it's another spotted owl or Y2K. How can anyone explain the melting of the land bridge between Asia and America? How can anyone explain that it was warmer during the medieval period than it is now? Did they have factories and cars?? How can it be explained that thousands of scientists last week have said that maybe in fact we are in a cooling stage? What a crock, ill individuals believe in this shi*.
