bin Laden tape urges Muslims to liberate Palestine

In the audio message, the speaker reiterates jihadist opposition to the existence of the Jewish state and its policies, and tells listeners that "liberating" Palestine should be the aim of every Muslim.

The message, titled "The Causes of Conflict on the 60th Anniversary of the State of Israeli Occupation," was released Thursday on jihadist Web sites, where it is played over a still image. It runs nine minutes and 40 seconds and is addressed to Western peoples.

A U.S. intelligence official said Friday the tape is being analyzed to see if the speaker is, in fact, bin Laden.

The official said it would be "no surprise" that bin Laden would issue a message against Israel. Al Qaeda seems to think such a message "resonates well in the Muslim world," he said.

President Bush referred to al Qaeda on Friday in an address to Israel's parliament, the Knesset, in Jerusalem.

He decried the actions and the motivations of terrorists and noted that bin Laden teaches that "the killing of Jews and Americans is one of the biggest duties."

We took our eye off the ball and made a bad decision several times over the past 15 years. One thing I find hard to believe is that we can't get him through clandestine ways. He is alive, breathing, eating andmaking periodic videos. There are people in the world who know where he is. You would think that sooner or later we would get a mole in there and endit.

I don't believe he is alive but even if he is, he's marginalized.Finding someone in the mountains isn't easy even if it's on home soil. How long did the idiot Eric rudolph who blew up the olympics stay missing on the run? He was only capatured out of dumb luck. Bush has done an excellent job in crippling Al Qaeda. Most of their leadership is killed and/or captured. Their financial resources are deminished. I fear what would happen should a Dem win back the White House and they go back to fighting terrorism in the courts like it was a traffic ticket instead of treating it like the war it is.

Bin Ladin is certainly the most wanted fugitive in the world. There are millions of dollars on his head. That religion must be pretty strong to keep all the greedy ones from turning him in. Frankly, I think he's in Pakistan, and many on the fringe left who are criticizing Bush for not getting him would cry and whine if we went storming into Pakistan to get him. It's a catch 22 for the sheeple, complain he didn't get Bin Laden, but don't let him do what's needed to snuff out the rag head.

Wherever the scumbag is we need to get him and soon,alive if possible. Put him in Gitmo, feed him ham sandwiches and and do the water board trick one more time until he talks. Every time one of these tapes is made al Quedagets more recruits. Do not thinkfor one minute that al Queda is not well funded. Rich Saudis donate lots of money to bin Laden and al Queda while thatorganizationwreaks havoc in Saudi.

BTW: The Saudi government has a long history of buying off terrorists. However, bin Laden could not be bought off.

It's hard to believe that some one has not been able to do in Bin Laden. Now here's a thought....perhaps the powers out there do not want to make him a martyr. Historical records show that British sniper teams were called off of Hitler because the allies thought that with him at the helm the war would be over sooner. Gets me wondering if the powers in charge don't want him dead. Who knows what the islamic extremists would do to honor the martyrsm of Bin Laden. Just a thought.
