Yep, I never understood it either. I can remember the frats calling me trying to get me to pledge, which is something they did with all the athletes. I thought, you got to be kidding me. Why would I even care? Ive got my own life, I dont need to buy one.

Having been through a "Crossing The Line" ceremony in my Navy days I can't really condemn them too harshly, especially since participation was voluntary in both cases.

When I was in college, the Greeks were unbecoming of the university itself. They were the low lifes of the university. Only thing that made them different was the inordinant amount of money they would spend to do their turd activities. Our Greek council had just a hand full of frats that were allowed on campus. Most of them had been kicked off campus.

Yes, some people will do virtually anything to achieve acceptance. These are some of the pawns that the rest of us will dominate later on in our careers.
Friends or no friends, I will not let anyman abuse me or pour feces on me. Any kid like that needs some serious mental help. He is weak, or/and foolish.
