6.4 M coupled with the 5.5 M she already gave is baffling to me. Spending that amount of money for a job that pays 400K per year even when you factor in America 1, the choppers, limos and the free Whitehouse with food and drink all paid for by the American public doesn't wash. Ego must be the driver here.

Heck, they made a killing the first time they gutted the White House, they are looking to do it agian. Remember Clinton turned the White House into a high price hotel, and in some cases, high price brothel. Then turned around the gutted the place when they left.

Champlain Islander: I disagree. If you look at how much profit the Clinton's gained from Bill Clinton's presidency I'm guessing you can argue that they have earned ~ $100 M over the seven+ years since Bill left office, what with Bill's memoires and speaking engagements and Hillaries book. I have to calculate that none of that $$$ would have been earned had Bill and Hill just been two buckos -- even a Governor of Arkansas. So, my bet is that it could very well mean Hillary being president is worth more than ~ $12 M to the Clintons.
On the other hand . . . maybe that "loaning" money to the campaign isn't everything it appears to be. I'll leave it at that.
But still, there is a whole lot of ego goin' on here, you have that right.
