Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Hillary's last chance

Looks like its over for her, unless she pulls the super delegates. If the Demo party ends up picking her over Obama, against the popular vote, what do you all think will happen? If this happens, I predict the party will implode and we will see a turn around as to which is the racist party. Also, the riots will ensue.

I dont think that it is gonna come to a showdown. Obama built up such a lead before he was properly vetted that he has even been able maintain much of it despite recent negative developments on his part. Of course, one could also argue that Hilary was in a position to really gain a lot of ground, but then shot herself in the foot with the stupid "sniper fire" and MLK statements. I think that it is gonna be over soon.

The longer it goes on with Barack HUSSEIN Obama and Hillary RODHAM Clinton attacking each other, the better it is for us.

In my fantasy world she keeps on fighting and runs as a third party candidate. (Socialist Workers Party)

Time is on her side anyway. If Obama beats McCain, he will likely turn into some sort of one-term Jimmy Carter clone and she can then come back as a candidate in four years. If he loses, i think that the next four years will show him to be a very average congressman who wont have the juice for another run. She will.

Eventhough I think Hillary wants to fight this out until the end, I think she will get major pressure from the party to pull out of the race before the convention. If she would stay in and get the nomination somehow, I think blacks would sit out the November election. No way they will be voting for Hillary since they will see her as the one who stole it from their guy. Either of the two will lose in November against McCain however, so it really don't matter who they nominate. The democrats had one heck of a good shot at winning the White House this year after Bush's 8 years of blunders, but they sure picked a loser in nominating either Obama or Hillary. They've got no one to blame but themselves for picking such lame candidates.

I hope Obama wins the nomination because frankly, the Republicans have a better shot running against him than Hillary. Look at exit polls, 38% of Hillary voters say they will for sure vote McCain if Obama wins the election. If Hillary wins the nomination 70% of Obama supporters will vote for Hillary. As you can see, there are extreme divisions in the Democratic party. Obama has the extreme left vote, so they will vote Democrat no matter what (ex: Hillary). Buut, he cannot win with just the extreme left, he must have borderline white democrats which every primary has shown he cannot win, all he has is the academia left/blacks/1960's leftover hippies. As you can see, most Hillary Democrats will vote McCain in the general election. Barrack Obama cannot beat John McCain and the Republicans come November. Go ahead and give the nomination to Barrack, i cant wait to hear more about this guy and have more past dirt emerge.

Of course, an added benefit is having a moderate republican running. Disgruntled democrats have a better chance of holding their nose and voting for him, whereas they likely wouldnt go thru with voting for a strong conservative no matter what they say in the polls.

I think slick Willy and Hilly will make some sort of deal with Howard Dean and seat the delegates from Florida and Michigan, and get the popular vote tallied for her. That would put her ahead of Obama in the popular vote count. I am not counting her out until Obama is named the democratic candidate. Either way it's going to be fun to watch.

You hit the nail on the head here! I know some republicans can't stand the fact that McCain is the nominee, but his moderate stances on some issues and his willingness to work with democrats is what will get many democrats to vote for him in November. If McCain doesn't do anything foolish from now until November, I can't see him losing. I would not be surprised if he would win by something close to a landslide. No way is this country ready to elect someone like Obama as president.

McCain's handlers damn well better work their butts off to make sure that he doesnt throw one of his temper tantrums or have any more senile moments. He could shoot himself in the foot with that stuff.
