Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default NY Times slams Clinton's 'negativity'

In the paper's Wednesday edition, the editorial board which endorsed Clinton's White House bid earlier this year says the New York senator's "negativity" is doing "harm to her, her opponent, her party and the 2008 election."

...who else thinks this idiot woman and that idiot Obama are doing damage to the most cherished process and ideas on earth ?

...this woman is dispicable...[:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(]

She won Pennsylvania. Obviously she's doing something right.

This is an unclean process -- a gritty, greasey, smelly, bacteria enshrouded process -- the process of electing a US president, maybe any US election, maybe any democratic election. Ideas? In an election campaign? You've got to be kidding?! I don't like Hillary or Obama, but this is not an activity for the weak of stomach. Nothing Hillary is doing is beyond the pale, as far as national election politics goes. I just hope McCain is as cunning, resourceful, creative, persistent, aggressive, predatory, and killer instinct when the Republicans are free to go after a Democrat nominee. Both Hillary and Obama have plenty of warts that the media and the Democratic true believers have averted their eyes from and discretely overlooked. It is the obligation of McCain to bring those warts and weaknesses into sharp focus for all. Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick Tock.

I will disagree that McCain should now stoop to their level in order to win. They have done enough damage to themselves and he does not need to become like them. If he presents himself as a gentleman, statesman, and someone above those types of tactics he will win easily. Stooping to their level will do him more harm than good I can assure you.

I guess in the context of my whole post, my expressed hopes do suggest that McCain get dirty. On the other hand, I think it is possible to be cunning, resourceful, creative, persistent, aggressive, etc., without running a "dirty" campaign. Is it dirty to air Hillary Clinton's gun control statements? Is it dirty to roll back various footage of Hillary that undermines her characterization of her present incarnation? Maybe it is. I think you have to go directly at someone and challenge their characterization of themselves as the best thing since sliced bread and in fact the inventor ofsliced bread, the polio vaccine, etc.
