Gun control and calls for renewal of assault weapons ban as well as fed firearm tracing. We all knew what she was and she had hid it well up till now. Maybe this will wake a few up.

RE: Clinton comes out of closet on....
The latest NRAgun magazine has a pretty good read about her stance on guns. Obama's positionis even worse. Neither one of the Dems will be good for the future of gun sports.

Hopefully we'll get a decent ruling out of the Supreme Court on 2nd Amendment issues which will significantly limit the damage the Democrats plan to do to our gun rights.
And ANY gun owner who thinks Clinton or Obama don't have nefarious intentions with regard to our guns is either kidding himself (how'd Hillary phrase it... a willful suspension of disbelief?), or is just plain stupid.

Hear, hear. Indeed. Truer words were never spoken.
This is a little to the side, but it has recently occured to me that a new strategy has been bumbled into or creatively invented by the gun-banners. The strategy is based on bending, distorting, changing, expropriating words. Take the expression "assault weapon." The ban does not address itself to "assault weapons." True assault weapons are at least selectively fully automatic to some extent (hold the trigger down and fire three shots as quickly as the action can cycle = fully auto). As far as I know, the "assault weapons" ban is not directed to such weapons that are already subject to severe legal restrictions of ownership. So, having expropriated the term "assault weapon," morph the legal definition of "assault weapon" to cover all the weapons you want. The ignorant masses hear "assault weapon" and assent whole heartedly to the ban on the same, with no understanding of what the legal term "assault weapon" encompasses. Similarly with "cop killer" ammunition or anti-aircraft cartridges etc. This is a pretty effective strategy because the public that isn't very knowledgeable about the true gun issues involved are entirely misled. I view this is a disturbing trend.
